With the money behind us and the academy I think we're in a better situation than most.

Reading, Leicester and Burnley have all come back up. Stats need a check.

How many of them had been in the PL for over a decade when they got relegated though?

Wolves, Blackburn, Birmingham and Portsmouth all had horrible things going on behind the scenes.

Wolves - None of their players gave a crap, because of their wages, they wouldn't/couldn't leave. I mean, Jamie O'Hara and Kevin Doyle are still their players. It took Kenny Jackett to come in, rebuild and find a togetherness that's led them to winning League One in a record setting manner.

Blackburn - We all saw how disruptive the Venky's people were to Blackburn's form. They missed out on the play offs this season on goal difference after Gary Bowyer rebuilt the squad and - you guessed it - found togetherness.

Birmingham - Their chairman is in jail. The fact that Lee Clark has kept them up is huge.

Portsmouth - Their owner was spending money they didn't have. I think they still owe millions to ex players. Currently in League Two.

Now, Fulham. We don't have the behind the scenes problems that these clubs have, our chairman is rich, our manager has a pedigree of success and our squad needs a rebuild.

I'm sure we will start buying hungrier, younger players, that will also provide quality to our squad. I don't demand a one year promotion, but if we do this right, we'll be up within three years.

To add, this is the most lucrative year for a Premier League side to be relegated. We'll earn something like £60m through TV money, to add to parachute payments... This should cover money loss, and also help reinvesting into the squad.

The parachute payments amount to £48m over four years but I'm puzzled by the £60m TV money.  How did you arrive at this figure?
