Steve Wigley - potential manager

As I recall he managed Aldershot, Southampton and Notts Forest and has been around the lower divisions in all sorts of capacities.
My Dad was a fanatical Shots fan and was upset when he left them.

To cut it short, with his current position and knowledge of many of the 'potentials' would he be a good candidate, failing that
I'll look in my book and dig out Harry Bassets number.
Also would it be possible to have 2 managers (not like the recent Mule, Crab and Curbs)
but Wigley/Symons  or Wigley/Murphy
