That by the time we see the end of the transfer deadline we have lost Kamara and had Okaka and Beattie and Storey in. How pleased would we be?

Better than nobody coming in for sure.
The above IS NOT A LEGAL DOCUMENT. It is an opinion.

We may yet hear the horse talk.

I can stand my own despair but not others hope

Yep, I'd be ok with that. I would still like to see another creative midfielder though.

I would be happy. A suitable back an striker are essential. A creative mid would be next on the list. If Murphy turns it around, we really don't need another midfielder for the rest of the season, assuming he stays healthy and gets his form back. The other positions we are short.

PokerMatt

Hopefully not both Okaka and Beattie. Far too many target men. Okaka and Shorey would certainly improve us. I don't think Murphy's particularly off form, it's just that without any width he can't be the sole creator... No Konch and Pants to help out and with Demps out (and Duff a natural cut-inside type), some kind of creative wide influence is what I'd like to see - a genuine winger to whip the ball in for our many big men to come

Thank you Matt for allowing me to breathe easier.  Having read Mr Lighthouse's original post, I thought we were getting that crook from Pompey as CEO.  Panic isn't the word.  Time for a stiff drink...

Or how about we atleast get to see Wayne Brown in the squad?

At clubs with bigger memberships, their supporters only touch their colours, but at FFC we have spirit. Fulham people can touch that spirit - they are the real Cottagers, they are the club

OldBrownShoe

Don't think it will happen but would be happy enough with Beattie, after all he is experienced and a goal scorer. Proviso would be only if we have somebody who can put decent crosses over.

Haha, was just thinking the same thing. I`d love to see him get a chance to see if he`s good enough but sadly think he`ll end up going the same way as all of our other young prospects. I honestly don`t see the point of having a youth academy if we`re never gonna see any of them breakthrough. Sean Davis seems an awful long time ago!!

Where does this Beattie rumour keep surfacing from?

I haven't seen or heard anything about it happening apart from on here!

Personally I'd like to see Okaka and Shorey come in at least.

Summer deals for me  - I would try and get Per Cilian Skjelbred and tie down Okaka - if he's good to a longer loan whilst another CB and RB seem a necessity - also another winger...

tbh we could improve one what we've got in every area apart from possibly GK, so I spose if something comes up I would just go with it, but yeah Skjelbred would be a def for me and a solid CB at least.
