Cauley Woodrow thread

Craven Mad

I was so pleased when Cauley scored but, unusually, I wasn't pleased for the team (his goal was somewhat inconsequential at that point), I was pleased for him. Scoring seemed to mean a lot for him, and I think it'll give him the self-belief going-forward.

I see Woodrow as a more versatile Zamora - with more passion and less of a chip on his shoulder and he's showing that aged 19.. instead of 29.

My views too. Great link-up play, but knows how to mix-things-up and get greedy when needed. Great adaptability.

TheManOnTheBus

A great strike, but thought live (and since on replays) that Hugo did really well surrounded by a few defenders to see the reverse pass and lay it on for Cauley.

Well done Dave!

Congratulations, hope he does well.

He fully deserves it, hope he plays a bit part next year.

is there a link to it anywhere
Remember you are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.
I will be as good as I can be and when I cross the finishing line I will see what it got me

Well done Son....
Such a promising performance on Sunday.... I feel the same this evening as when Les Barrett was selected back in 19 sixty oatcakes.

The atmosphere's fresh and the debate lively.

So pleased for him and his parents, complete vindication, if its needed, on their decision to leave Luton and join Fulham. The downside is that it raises his profile even more and will no doubt attract column inches from the red tops linking him with all the top clubs which could be unsettling although he is a grounded lad so hopefully will ignore it and concentrate on improving and scoring for Fulham.

I predicted he would definitely make the first team 2 seasons ago, describing him as our own Teddy Sheringham

Jack Fulham

Looking forward to watching Cauley leading the line next season!

Well deserved call up.

It was almost a carbon copy of Dejagah's against Hull

^^This^^
Dejagah has scored the same way from both sides.

JBH

Well done to the lad he fully deserves his call up to the U21's  065.gif

He should never have been dropped after getting his chance in the first team.... I am really excited by his potential, and I am delighted he has been called up to the under 21's... thoroughly deserved

JackyFulham90

For us next season.
Felix really likes him I think he will play a massive role in our fight for promotion

Could be a real talent next season, really impressed and showed more than the other strikers put together, well done to felix for giving him the games.

fulhamben

probably needs a loan to a conference league team, as he is untested at championship level. we should probably sell him and buy kevin philips as he is proven   :hook: i can see him david and roberts tearing it up next season. its players like cauley that make relegation bearable and even exciting
CHRIS MARTIN IS SO BAD,  WE NOW PRAISE HIM FOR MAKING A RUN.
