new owners, new badge?

I always thought they changed the badge due to the cost of it due to the number of colours involved and the design. think that was the excuse at the time

I think I have been one of those who has commented the badge many times here and other places, I even sent a PM to one of the moderators here regarding the badges Fulham has used, I there allso stated that wouldnt it be possible to have a petition or something where fans tells the club we want the old badge or a better one?

I remember last season the fans at Everton at least got to vote for 3 different badges after the club announced theire new one wich was not met with applause and happy fans but hatred instead, they voted for the new one that they will play with from next season.

The Bronsons

The one sure way to get the badge changed is wait. WhiteJC's parade of badges suggests every design has had its shelf life. It's only a matter of time before somebody in a marketing department starts doodling.

Looking at all those designs, it's amazing that replica shirts didn't start as an industry until very late. When I was at school in the 'sixties, I don't remember replica shirts at all.

so, which of the dozen or so badges that were used before does everyone prefer? I have Fulham gear with three different badges all purchased in the last 10 years.

How about this? I don't like our current league. How about Khan gets us back in the old one?

Forever Fulham

No online gambling/bookmaker sponsors, please.  Just a pet peeve of mine.  I hate to see that on player's shirts.  Airlines, car companies, telephony, whatever, fine.  Gambling, no.  And no more crests and shields.  There is an elegance to the vertically stacked "FFC" with interlocking letters.  The colors and lines are 'clean' and unmistakable.

From what I've read (and this is ALL from just that), our new owner is not against changing the branding, and has shown a penchant for the shield design (as we currently have), so there's nothing to go on from there then!!  :dead horse:

Logical is just in the name - don't expect it has anything to do with my thought process, because I AM the man who sold the world.

I think Khan would change it if he thought we wanted a change.  A modern variant of the first ever badge would be a nice touch.  Not too keen on the river and the boat etc....  We should ask him.  I guess it is whether or not a rebranding of sorts costs much.  I would not want funds denied for players so we could have a better badge.

Really nice to see all the badges and the shirts.  Thanks.  I still think the first nike shirt was the best we had with the badge colour matching the logo.  Everything about that shirt was quality.

I hope we do not return to a version of the Hammersmith and Fulham Council Badge as it is just as relevant as the British National anthem is to England; in other words it's not.
We have had the 'new badge' for about thirteen years  if my memory is correct and I LIKE IT. it is simple, uncluttered and recognisable by most fans of other clubs as Fulham.
What's the problem?

It is rubbish, that is the problem. looks like a sperm bank advert and LB11 will correct me if I am wrong , there are no issues regarding merchandising with the old badge and never had been , just Mo getting his own way

I like that a lot!

Funny how things come back full circle.  The 1984 - 1987 shirts look like the grey/white shirt of today.
Anyone can blend into the crowd.  How will you standout when it counts?

Our new badge is ugly and our hold badge was classy and sophisticated

[/quote Since that is unlikely let's focus on the badge

We should use the badge on my profile (I think someone else here also has it as theirs). I don't know who designed it, I just found it on the internets and blatantly stole it. Also, I don't mean to comment on another thread here, but look at all the old shirts with red trim! Some fans are against it but I like the red more now that I see the old shirts.

mullers

I like a bit of red on the kit, particularly on the socks. I think the badge and kit should stay with black and white with red, including away strips. I was gutted we ended up wearing blue in Hamburg.
