Just looking at prices for the Millwall game (out of curiosity, like hell am I going to be with 50 miles of that lot). This little note crossed my eye

Supporters are advised that this season all prices will increase by £5 on matchday.

So am I to believe that ALL games this season, you'll be able to pay on the gate?
@MattRhys63 - be warned, there will be a lot of nonsense

Berserker

I expect so. Not so many people want to see Championship teams play compared to Premier league teams

I was surprised to see that they were keeping the neutral end for the Millwall match. Surely this would require a lot of extra stewards?

Blanco

Who's going to the Millwall game?

Berserker

I'm going but the club let me move from the Putney end to the Hammersmith end for the game

Sneaky one. What about our right flank now? Have no fear residents of P2. Brian has been on a bell ringing tour, Katherine has been to Vienna with her choir, I have stacks of new material, Mike is bringing the munchies and the apprentices in front of us will have had another season under their belts. I am not quite sure why there is so much angst over the Millwall massive moving in. The fans I have met on the 18.20 out of Waterloo are friendly enough. Any trouble though and the Tunnocks, 50,000 made and sold every week, come out.
Lets go people. I have to confess to not being quite match ready yet but the season is upon us and this one is 3pm on a Saturday. Whats not to like?

Berserker

Ah ScallyD I was going to be a women alone so thought I'd move. Your welcome to use my spare seat as it will be empty

Is this serious RL?  You were the 'scourge' of the QPR message boards, surely you'll be giving your full support to our young guns against our London rivals?

I lived in New Cross for a year a few years ago whilst at Uni. DEEP DEEP DEEP in Millwall country, it was not a pleasant day on matchdays. It was whilst living amongst them for a year, that I made the decision not to come within 50 miles of them in the future

Sorry, I can understand someone not wishing to take their young kids to a game with Millwall (just in case), but it's a bit sad when an adult comes out with something like this.

I'm a bit gob-smacked to be honest, and I hope the majority of our support show a bit more back-bone.

I live in Peckham, I can walk from my front door to the Den in 20 minutes, and I've never once felt threatened by Millwall and their fans

SouthfieldWhite

Getting back to the question, I doubt all games will be pay on the door, maybe the majority, it will depend on Police advice aswell.

Going on to what this thread has now become, I've got alot of Millwall mates, I've worked in the area and I doubt they will be looking on us as having a good row, its Fulham v Millwall, not Cardiff v Millwall.

Go support your team

It is a shame that sarcasm doesn't come across on the internet. That's exactly what I was.

Millwall will depend on what money I have at the time

In 1970 something we were comfortably settled in a good central location behind one of the goals at Millwall when a police inspector wandered over & had a quiet word in Dad's ear.  It transpired we had positioned ourselves in an area favoured by one of their mobs & would shortly be surrounded as the ground filled up.  For our own safety we were escorted to another area of the ground which didn't feel any safer. The joys of terracing.
