If he's been brought in to be first choice its ridiculous but otherwise he should be a decent mentor to JJ and Bettinelli. Interestingly this is the most expensive transfer of his career!!

God this is a terrible signing.  Why didn't we just keep Stockdale?  I am underwhelmed by our business in this transfer market - it is like having Sanchez back!

I agree. I'm pretty underwhelmed with the move but his experience for the youngsters is the only positive if any.
