After the first win of the season, I for one am "buzzing" (see what I did there, baddam tsssh  :drums:) for tomorrow. Despite falling into a bit of a negative mood over the past few weeks, I am back to being the overly positive, overly optimistic Fulham fan. Whilst watching the replay against Brentford it was obvious that something was beginning to click with the lads...perhaps Burn in the squad, Stafalydis in his favored Left Back position, David getting the nod, McCormack getting his shooting boots back on, etc. If we keep this team with a few changes, I.E. Hyndman back in the squad and Bodoruv for Hutchinson, this should be a team that is arguably our most settled due all of Magoos various changes to the lineup week in and week out. We will win tomorrow, and it will be the start of a positive season for FFC. We may not win the league with such a poor start, but Top 6 and achieving the oh-so coveted playoff spot is the goal. We still have 42 games in the season - 42! and all we need to do (a loaded statement I know) is get to 6th and get that playoff spot, after that it's just one game at a time.

We are going to win tomorrow, and if we don't...well I don't want to think about that because it won't happen! I need to stay positive, even if I sound like a loon because there is not too much so far this season to be happy about!

Who's with me? Here is to new beginnings!

Someone once asked me, "Why Fulham?".
My response, "Well, lad, you just haven't seen the light yet"

To me cup and league is two separate competitions, we can see many teams perform in the cup, but still relegated from the league, I couldnt care less about the cup situation, with our current position and form in the league.... and I dont think tomorrow will be any better...

WORTHINGFULHAM

Well lets take one step at time, being at home tomorrow we need all 3 points and bag a few goals too, but anything will do as long as its a win and 3 points.
Hopefully a lift from the Brentford game will carry into the cardiff game, or heres hoping....

With a bit of luck/composure Woodrow could have had a hat trick v Brentford.
Then it would have been a thrashing.
Different attitudes from lots of people then, including me, maybe.
We'll win tomorrow, with the fantastic support you lot give and me shouting
at the TV screen.
Still doesn't change my long term opinion on Magath future though

I pray we can do it.  While I am not a Felix fan, I trust the lads will all put in a shift and really work their socks off.  Come On Fulham!  Come On Fulham!
There is only one Fulham Football Club.

SouthWest6

I love all this enthusiasm, and I really hope we do kick on as of Cardiff, but this talk of promotion is madness. Any knowledgeable football person will know that our current squad isn't good enough.

Sgt Fulham

I'm not so sure about tomorrow. Sure Brentford win was nice but it by no means a battering, and you have to remember that last season they were in League 1 while Cardiff were in the Premiership.

aaronmcguigan

surely you should have been buzzin for the brentford game, and now you can't wait because the week is dragon, im going with a new nickname because I can't fit bluebirds into a pun

+1 on staying positive. I'm treating this one like a first game of the season and the last 4 league games as a kind of extended pre- season due to the wholesale clearout.
You are my Fulham, My only Fulham,
You make me happy, When skies are grey,
You'll never know just, How much I love you,
So please don't take,My Fulham...Away

I think you met her in Jacksonville ?

Come to think of it I haven't seen her for a few days.
She went out into the back garden on Monday with a large suitcase and said she was going to pick some mint to put into the boiled potatoes and I didn't give it another thought and haven't seen her since.
I'll have to look for her when I get home and if she's not there I guess I'll have to cook my own dinner again.

You can wipe that smile off your face if I find out she's picked my mint and given it to you in SF.
That was bloody hard work watching that grow.

BTW:  have you ever come across my old buddy Rick Jones in SF.
He did "Fingerbobs", "Play School" and was in the group Meal Ticket.
Him and his wife Val still do some gigs up and down the west coast.
