My assessment of where we are..... No mention of you know who.

So it's blank slate time....

Really disappointing results so far but flashes of what is under the surface. Could do very well if we get more incisive upfront. Hopefully Wednesday was the start of that. Hopefully will stay up, could push for play off place but too late for automatic promotion I think.

Goalkeeper: really got to be Bettinelli. He played two good games for us and didn't deserve yo be dropped. Kiraly saved 0/5 on Wednesday.

Defence: this has been our second main problem for the past 18 months. He needs to stick with a select back 4. Bodurov, and Amore must play, and if burn plays Amore at left back. Alternatively staf at left back and bod and Amore in the middle. Probably voser at right back but a erotic is also good enough at this level. However we must play the same back four for the next few games for stability so they get to know each other. Burgess will be good but needs a bit more strength. Kavanagh also needs a bit more strength.

Midfield. Our main problem as it completely changes every week, and defensively probably the reason we concede so many goals. I am not a huge Parker fan as he doesn't play forward enough but he should play, but we have so many midfielders it hard to decide who else plays. I want Roberts to get at least 45 minutes a game and it will be interesting what else someone's does.... Hyndman, David, Christensen, George Williams, Ryan Williams Ruiz hoogland eisfeld, chihi hopefully not fotheringham, although wasn't so bad v forest. That's a big squad. My call would be Parker Hyndman Roberts and David with hoogland Ruiz and George Williams on the bench. Could swap Ruiz and David when Ruiz is match sharp.

Attack. At the moment it's Rodellega and McCormack please. Woodrow on the bench when fit, and am not sure what has happened to Trotta. He is Italian u21 player but just frozen out. It will be interesting to see what happens to Taggart. And Smith.... Dembele for me needs to get a bit more involved. He seems a lazy player that needs somehow yo be motivated as undoubtedly a top goalscorer.

Other points to note.

1. Symons knows the youngsters better than anyone, so the players he picks on Saturday will be the ones he rates most highly.
2. Please have a first choice goalie.
3. Pick one team and stick with it for the next few games
4. I can't wait for Saturday. If you haven't got your ticket, get one, as it will be a better atmosphere than the juventus night.
5. We might not win immediately, but we haven't been awful this season, and have played some good football. So we could improve quickly. With the squad we have we shouldn't be at the bottom like we are.
6. I wonder if Cole will be found......
7. I am so happy, and from wondering if I could face going on Saturday, I really can't wait.
8. I really hope we see Hyndman Williams and Roberts blossom over the next few months.
