We have low standards. Parker's been "fine," but our slowness/passing deficiency in central midfield continues to undermine our attacking.

I was delighted to keep him, he was excellent in the first half of last year. He's getting up there in years but he was the obvious candidate to take the captaincy.

Happy with him this year, too. He does what he says on the tin and does it well.

He was unbelievably dire for most of last season and I slagged him off a lot, but he's been a lot better so far this campaign. I think this league is more his level.

I think he's been one of our most important players -and a real leader and role model for our younger players.

He is playing nice football with spirit and makes a good captain, we would miss him, lets hope he keeps fit.

I think as a leader he's vital for our young players. He's a player that works hard for the team and clearly has a desire to win.

That being said, he does give the ball away too much by trying to dribble around players in midfield. We've given up a couple chances that way. I think part of that is Parker trying to do too much instead of just keeping it simple.
