IF we need one, is Niall Quinn an option?

Dunno and Dunno. (Sounds like a firm of Dickensian solicitors.)

Let's set up a five man committee to decide if we need one.
And then set up another five man committee to decide who should get the job.

If only we had someone in the job already we could give it too

I wonder how much dosh he threw at the panel of 5?
If he had listened to us in the first place it wouldnt have cost him nothing.
We have all said for weeks Kit was the man...

Niall Quinn as DoF.

I've read on FBb Danny Murphy should now be No2 to Kit.

Now all we have to do is find jobs for the other three on the committee (if they haven't already put themselves forward for one)

i have never understood what a director footbal does?
I can't see the point.
the manager manages the team, the tactics the training and presumably tries to arrange good new signings.. so what does the director do other than get a big fat cheque?

Sorry for the delay in replying, we've just come out of a meeting discussing whether or not we should change brands of toilet paper.  4 hours and no decision.

What I have "heard" today, though just "rumours" is - David Daly to replace Alistair Mackintosh as the clubs CEO, Huw Jennings to get a promotion to our Director of Football slot. Niall Quinn has clearly built some form of relationship with Shahid Khan previous to being named on the panel and was presumably included within Khan's praise of the panel:

"First, I must offer my sincere appreciation to the search committee for its commitment to the process. We asked a lot of all five committee members, perhaps more than they anticipated, and yet they gave us more than we could have ever imagined. Each of them brought something unique and valuable to the search, but the one thing they all had in common was a strong desire to return Fulham to its proper place as one of the most admired and respected clubs in English football. I cannot thank them enough."

I too have heard that Daly will be CEO and Curbs DOF.

But I've also heard that Jennings will be DOF.

My sauces ain't impeccable.
English by birth, Fulham by the grace of God.

Curbishley would be a bad choice in my book.  Too confusing and disruptive for Kit AND the players.
If we need a DOF - and I think we do to manage transfers, contracts, budgets and the Board so Kit can coach and choose target players - it should be Huw Jennings.

Yeah right, and I'm going to be KitsNo.2 ;-)

I think it would be better to keep Huw Jennings to be in hes position, he has done a great work for the academy as well, getting our academy to Category One status, I think he would be vital to keep in that position to keep developing youths. But who am I to know :P maybe he would do well, but then I hope someone of the same caliber is brought in to the academy
