To summarise.
1- Crewe by far the better team. Very disciplined
2- Not surprised at our team, given that nearly all of last year's team have moved on
3- The U18's physio is a looker
4- Crewe fans are morons. Best encapsulated in the dying moments. The referee played advantage after we had fouled one of their players, only for Crewe to blaze their shot over the bar. The referee booked our player, but they were screaming the red should go back for the free kick

The Physio is Marcus Bettinelli sister

So that would make Marcus my brother-in-law? That merely sweetens the deal

I know Marcus dad well, let's just say you'd have 2 hopes, ....... ;-)

That would also explain why Vic was there tonight. Was wondering what he was doing there

Vic is the Academy goalkeeping coach and is at all the u18s games so no surprise him being there tonight

Disappointed with the result, despite us having a strong team out. As I said earlier this year could be tough for them....

What do people think of smile, I have a few friends who rate him highly, but would be interested in hearing what people who have probably seen him more think .

I only saw him in his sub appearances in the latter stages of last year's Youth Cup but he reminds me of Mark Pembridge.

An intelligent midfielder who knows where he should be and what to do with the ball. I think he's a good prospect but I speak as someone who was convinced that Ronnie Minkwitz was the next Danny Murphy.
