I went to all the home games - Motherwell was one I think, also St. Mirren, though I can't remember them very well.

Another great TBT trip.

2nd time at Ayresome Park for me as I was there for the first match of the season in 73/74 when we won 2-0.

Pretty scary place in the 70s.

I was at  ( what I recall was the second leg) the home game, vaguely recall us already being one down from the first leg, was Mick Mills their captain in those days, could be wrong...

I also VERY vaguely recall that the bloody goal might have been an own goal or a penalty.....but them memory is getting really taxed now..... 092.gif

I think their goal was a Les Strong own-goal, from a shot that he couldn't get out of the way of.
