Fulham midfielder Wayne Brown has joined Bristol Rovers on a one-month loan deal.

Brown enjoyed a highly successful loan spell with Finnish side Turun Palloseura in 2009 and the Fulham Academy Graduate will be available for Bristol's match against Leyton Orient at Brisbane Road on Tuesday night.

Brown will return to Fulham on the 28th February 2010.

The Club can confirm that Finnish defender Toni Kallio has joined Sheffield United on loan until the end of the 2009/10 season.

He'll get more chance to impress in Rovers first team than our reserves.

Unless of course he doesn't.

I think players need to be asked to force their way into the first team rather than be brought in with some vague hope that they'll be better than underperforming first teamers.

And ideally introduced when things are going well not after 5 straight defeats.
