I've already talked about what Huw Jennings said about him but was shot down. However, I'll repeat myself:

Huw said he was a mercenary on ridiculously high wages (not £35k, more like £70k) who only came here for the money, and needed to go in the summer.

Kostas said that it was Magath who refused to play him and he was happy to stay, but that's what Mr Jennings said anyways.

I reckon he'll go to fund the signing of a couple of decent championship players, especially as it seems likely that we didn't pay £12 million. I'd guess (and this really is a guess) that it was more like £7m with the rest if we stayed up.

That's my tuppence to this thread.

We won't get better until all these odd bods out to loan and misfits who don't get picked are cleared out. It's nonsense and a reminder of the monstrous mismanagement that has dragged this club down from an established mid-prem level to scrubbing about at the foot of the championship.

Just another facet of chopping and changing management.....in-favour, and worse, out of favour squad players who were signed by previous regimes.....players who contribute nothing and drain wages.

You make some excellent points, and get rid of the deadwood that's draining the clubs resources, but this due to mismanagement, and shocking errors of judgement at Boardroom level.
