England U21 boss will announce the final squad for the tournament, with Fulham's Cauley Woodrow and Marcus Bettinelli having already been announced in the preliminary 27 man group.

Question is... Has Cauley done enough to shoehorn his way in? Marcus is I think more or less guaranteed a spot, maybe there's a surprise injury to one of the strikers to get Woody a seat on the plane?

I think Bamford is expected to pull out with injury, so between Cauley and the lad from Wolves I would assume.

Betts is a shoe in, its a 23 man squad the 23rd place being the 3rd keeper, they only named 3 so those 3 places are set barring injury

Southgate seems to use the 4411 formation, hence the higher number of attacking midfielders

To be fair looking at it from a non biased point of view I think it would have been ridiculous if he had been picked ahead of any of the other 5. The competition was very strong.

Bit odd to take 3 strikers but even so I would've chosen the lad from wolves who was scoring for fun if Bamford is injured. It was brilliant to see Caulay get recognition in the first place, well deserved and he has a bright future hopefully with us.
