Haven't done one of these for a bit but in honour of ACDC who were immense at Wembley last night I feel a bit of rock could be the order of the day.

The highlight of the gig for me was Thunderstruck...

My ears are still ringing. Without doubt the loudest gig I have been to.

Envious of you Burt.

Loudest gig eh?

Rainbow playing at The Rainbow was ear-splitting! I wonder if i have a claim?

No footage available of the actual gig, but this is a sampler around the same time.

The Who at Charlton 1976 126db was at the time the loudest gig ever
Best concert ever not because of the level of noise but because of the atmosphere

I was there - it was some concert!

Two years later I saw Bob Dylan, for the first time, at Earls Court, another great concert, and I will be seeing Dylan again in September - I don't know how many times that will be.

Seems like you really enjoyed seeing AC/DC Burt - must have been some occasion!

Loudest for me was Black Flag in a room about the size of a small pub. They had to tape the windows with duck tape. It was a lot of fun. Great music. Great show. Painful.

Wouldn't even want to begin talking about a favorite show. There've been so many special shows for me.
