Who lives in Fulham now?

Good question. Yesterday, Burt Jr showed me an ad for a house in Stevenage Rd on the market for a nip over £5m.

Not many Fulham supporters that's for sure.

Lived in Ellerby Street from 1979 until the early 'nineties. I rented a flat then but couldn't possibly afford it now.

Why do you say that? There are a lot of FFC supporters who actually live in Fulham.

Just found the Evening news from Monday April 28th 1975 Headline LONDON'S FINAL which the family have half page spread sharing the page with a West Ham family, not sure why it says on the film 1970 - 1979 when this is clearly all about the cup fever of 1975

Thats so weird. I lived down Ellerby from 1979 also. I was only there for 3 years though from birth which was when my younger sister was born so we moved to Ealing.

They are not all million pound houses though...
There are still some estates and other than Fulham Court, I've probably lived on most of 'em!

Ok well only - Clem Atlee, Gibbs Green and Aisgill Avenue (old coal wharf) behind the Seven Stars!

My first house was Archill rd and then Waterford rd before the above mentioned estates.
I was born in Princess Beatrice Hopsital (unfortunately close to them down the road)

Went to Harwodd Primary when the Head Madter was Mr Les Barrett ( not the real one!)
Then to Henry Compton and then moved out of the area all together!

Blimey, no wonder I'm weird!

I say that because in the late 60's early 70's at ten to three on Saturday afternoons you would see family's leaving their house's in the roads leading down to Stevenage road going to the game, have you seen that in the last 20 years, I haven't .
Do you think the same decoration of the Fulham streets would happen now if we got to an FA cup final this year would happen, very much doubt it, didn't see it when we got to the Europa final only 5 years ago.

Those were the days when those big houses were divided up into flats and had 3 families living in them or more not like now with just 1 family, similar to where I was born in E Putney, Schubert Road, big house 3  families though

Don't think you can compare the two, but I agree the surrounding houses at the Cottage have few fans living in them now
