Great programme was it not Peabody. What an unforgettable era that was! Did you see Chuck Berry in concert from 1972 afterwards, not a very nice bloke but what a talent.

Great series, but wish they would provide subtitles for Jerry Lee Lewis.  Really hard following what he's saying.

Brilliant show as you say. And I was amazed at the comments of the "older generation" that rock&roll was corrupting the youth, of the signs saying "only whites served here", that Elvis gyrating his hips was almost pornographic.
