Personally, I'd love to see this on matchday 1:

                           Betts
Garbutt    Burn           Hutchinson   Richards
                         O'Hara
Pringle        LVC          Cairney        Kacaniklic
                       Ross Mc

I know that leaves Ross uptop on his own but that's kinda like a 4-3-3, and that midfield is so creative.

Assuming the wings/fullbacks are on the wrong side in the above, i'm guessing that's not far off what it'll be.

The problem with this line up is that we would effectively be playing with no striker as Ross will not play as a no9 and their is no outlet/central focus for hold up play to bring the mid field  into attacking positions.  My view is you have to play one of Smith/Dembele/Woodrow as a no9 and Kit has to somehow get Ross to stop dropping deep and taking the ball off of Burn and Hutch

The line up would work if you dropped Ross

All this Ross drops too deep is bringing back memories of the Berbatov days!
