After adding the signature of Luke Garbutt on loan from Everton Fulham are close to signing Swansea Midfielder Leon Britton for a small fee & Crystal Palace striker Dwight Gayle on loan.


The club are still hopeful of prising Tom Lee's away from Sheffield Wednesday & want former loanee Michael Turner back at the club this season.

The club are yet to find a buyer willing to pay the 8m being asked for Mitroglou & the Greek international has excepted that he may be at Fulham come September.

The point TL was making is that these quotes purport to come from a journalist and were cut and pasted therefrom - so no opportunity for any changes to creep in. Some journalists might not be the brightest but one would still not expect them to make such elementary errors and it's that which unfortunately detracts from the credibility of the reports.

Crystal Palace Striker Dwight Gayle is set to join Fulham on loan - the whites want Ross McCormack to play in the hole behind the striker as part of a three & Dwight Gayle is wanted to spear head that attack.

Kit Symons has been pushing for this deal since the start of June.

Kostas Mitroglou is set to join Sporting Lisbon on loan with a view to an 8m permanent move.
