Yes, someone else said somewhere that it made sense, as he was guaranteed a 90 minute run out at Col U, whereas Kit was always going to bring the Trog on for at least half an hour in the Palace match, - have to say, it was sound thinking, as he now has a very large no. of relatively match fit options for the start of the season proper.

Regardless of still needing at least one more quality centre back, the squad is in a very organised position at the moment, and seems the most balanced in recent years.
