I haven't read the article but an educated guess would be last seasons defensive performance and no changes in the back four over the summer.

Wouldn't take any notice of the Sunday Observer - I'm sure last year they didn't have Bournemouth performing so well, pretty sure they were tipped for mid table obscurity?!
