I don't like how the headline talks about "splashing the cash" on Dwight Gayle - we have never been linked to a permanent move for him, solely a loan transfer. This is the kind of thing that just riles people up with a false expectation.

sorry how is that different to people linking us with a loan move for him when palace have only said he is available for a permanent move only?  Surely the rumours of a loan move riled us up more and are less likely
