Qualco 'partnership' and our Fans

What on earth is a designated credit management partner  ?

What a strange partnership.
They seem to be a debt collection software company

Christian Jacob, Managing Director at Qualco, said:
"This is an important milestone for the business and runs in tandem with our strategic goals over the next 12 months. It's important that Qualco is able to align itself with a market-leading brand with a strong identity, of which this deal does exactly that. Furthermore, Fulham FC offer a highly sought-after fan base of which we're looking forward to engaging with over the coming season."

"Fulham offer a highly sought after fan base of which we're looking to engaging with over the coming season"

Does this mean they'll be snooping through the season ticker holders files looking for people who either owe money or are landlords with debts payable to them or Paul Daniels fans.

Sean O'Loughlin, Finance Director at Fulham FC said:
"We are delighted to welcome Qualco on board as our Official Credit Management Partner for the 2015/16 season. We look forward to working together to help the brand grow its awareness amongst our fans whilst also reaching a wider audience through its association with Fulham"

So the club and Qualco must think that in the crowd every week are a % of people who don't pay their rent, mortgages, car payments, alimony, library memberships or bookies bills
or are owed any one of the above.
It must be quite a high % if the sponsorship is loads of dosh.

Obviously I am unable to go to matches, so who on this board are they after, own up guys and gals

A word to all visiting supporters, they are after you as well and from the sound of it they expect our travelling supporters to spread the word.

"Excuse me, do you have a few minutes to talk about Qualco"
F*** off posh West London twit I don't eat that expensive health food cack"

Billy the Badger will be handing out credit application forms at games and the "Qualco Cheerleaders" will twirl their chisels before the Brighton game, wearing Vinnie Jones masks, and again at half time in the Harry Enfield Bar.

Ten minutes before the Brighton kick off, sky-diving thugs will land on the pitch and simulate (amongst themselves) the real art of debt collecting by hitting each other with laptops.
"Please do not be frightened by the ropes and scaffolding hanging from the Riverside Stand or the planks attached to the wall over the Thames" commented Knocker Knobbs Qualco (PR Manager and Chelsea supporter)

Perhaps my evaluation of a 'financial services partner' is distorted but I do suggest you keep your ID down in your sock and

I suggest the "Keep the Greek" banners are exchanged for "We are a debt free fan base"

Why do the club bother announcing stuff like this but not stuff like whether Curbishley is working with the club?

This should tell you all you want to know. [NB: Exploding brain warning! Under no circumstances attempt to view this with the sound switched on.]

The best bit is at 0.17 where the 'Delinquent Account' is not only being repeatedly run over by a truck but is also having a motor-car dropped on his head from a great height. That should fix the old ' the cheque's in the post' routine.

I stole a few apples in my time and drove the guy opposite mad by perpetually climbing up his cherry trees.

I think its fairly obvious that curbishly is still involved, possibly as a consultant, which means he isn't directly employed as a fulham staff member.

You will need to scrimp to pay their fees, but I think you went scrumping. I know I did in the orchards of Kent about the same year...

Qualco is a leading provider of panel and asset management software and analytics, specialising in the credit management and recoveries marketplace.

Nothing terribly dark about this Roger, they provide a platform to ensure that credit lending risks are reduced i.e. financial institutions do not lend to people who cannot afford to repay.  The same platform is also designed to process the regular repayments i.e. collections.  They are not a "debt recovery" firm in teh sense of a bunch of heavies who turn up to enforce overdue repayments to loan sharks.
Recently many on the board were complaining that we did not do a good deal with our kit sponsorship (whatever the truth of that one), now the club have announced a commercial partnership so presumably they have done well this time?

I wonder if we were trying to get qualco as our main sponsor, but couldn't get it passed by the fa. Haven't they banned pay day loan companies as well from being main sponsors or was that fan driven

So did I!  My first thought was that we'd have some interesting patterns on the Craven Cottage turf, going forwards...

Possibly, but to be clear they are miles away from being a pay day loan company.  As far as I can make out they design and market credit software.

The word "credit" is always like a red flag to me suggesting a possible rip off by people who do little work.
Someone who makes lawnmowers would have a skill and be prepared to work and would therefore be worthy of respect.
