I don't care what colour boots anyone wears. I only like to wear black but last time I bought boots they didn't have ANY black. I saw the ref in one of the PL games yesterday wearing lovely all black boots. I don't know if all refs wear the same but I'd buy a pair.

Adidas make an all black Copa Mundial now, a boot that a lot of officials wear, so it could have been them. Im not a fan of the all black Copa personally, they haven't got the same appeal as the original. Pantafola do some really stylish all black ones but I cant see a ref being cool enough for 'folas.

Not all refs wear the same, a lino in front of the JH/H1,H2 last season had the funniest pair of clown shoes I've ever seen. I think he heard us laughing at them because he came out with some adidas in the 2nd half

Which old footballers of the past? The homophobic ones? Who cares what colour their boots are

:clap_hands: :clap_hands: :clap_hands:

I personally do not wear pink because I find it to be a feminine color and it does not suit my taste.  I do not dislike pink, quite fond of it on my wife or a pretty gal.  That said it is not for me.  Political correctness be damned, I also do not care to wear any shades of pastel purple, unless it is an Easter dress shirt with a dark suit.  I am unsure why an apology needs to come from the original poster, or why homophobia has to be injected.  Why must men apologize for being men these days?  The gay brothers and sisters in my family and friend circles will always have my love.  That said, we like a different kind of porn and have very different fashion taste.  I will not apologize for those differences, nor is their cause my cause.  More power to them, I just don't care enough to pick a sign or put a rainbow on my car and go advocate with them.  While I am at it, I do not care about that lion, whatever his name was.  Nor the polar bears...although they would make a nice throw rug in my man cave.  May the political correctness police now show up and stone me for being a knuckle dragging cave man.

You know exactly what that lions name was

I never apologised. It bugs be when people jump to the accusations of homophopia when a comment like this is made. It makes me sick how people can't say what they think anymore without being lynched by the PC brigade.

Bill, or bob, or larry, or something....

When the same folks post about genocide, or women and children killed this past month in Iraq and Syria....at that time I may bother to learn the name of the lion and perhaps take them more seriously.

You dont need to learn its name, you already know it

I wear black boots but every year that goes by I find it increasingly difficult to buy a new pair due to the limited choice. Nowadays it's all flashy colours and I hate it.

Sorry the 60's are before my lifetime  :005: I'll take your word for it though. I noticed during the Arsenal game today Mertesackers boot came off and he just slipped it back on like a slipper. Boots definitely weren't like that back then.

I guess the ones that used to come up to the ankle were before your time as well then! I recall my first pair were like super thick leather, with what felt like a steel toe-cap in them! Having to dub those things every week was a pain, but they looked after your feet if any miscreant decided to stamp on them.

As for pink? Well, perhaps we should have stuck to the plain black, with three white stripes down the outside like 'real' footballers used to wear (OK, so they were kicking a real leather ball that was like a bloody medicine ball in the thick of winter).
Logical is just in the name - don't expect it has anything to do with my thought process, because I AM the man who sold the world.

Its got nothing to do with sexuality.

I'm not sure what is drunk with or accompanies humble pie but it seems to have escaped a few people that Pink is to do with Breast Cancer awareness and not what some automatically assumed as gay. Hang your heads in shame.

as stated on the link below

Note that adidas will be encouraging fans to add a splash of pink to their MiAdidas football boots, whether pink laces, a pink tongue or a signature pink three stripes, to show support for breast cancer survivors as well as patients.

Somebody please find the training picture where Clint Dempsey was jogging in the heels up to the butt drill in his new pink boots, proud as a peacock and you could see Danny Murphy laughing at him from behind... it was rather funny.

i know it was posted on here many years ago.
Just score 3+ goals a game and we will gain promotion...I promise
