I saw Pringle play against Palace and score a good goal. I watched him against Brighton and he was useless.
I am not sure how he played tonight but he played for 87 minutes before Kacaniklic replaced him.
Is Pringle another failure. I had great hopes for him.

Another player bought, and played completely out of position. He's not a natural pacey winger. He's a wide player, but likes to pick the ball up and cut inside. Expecting him to run the flank with his pace and take players on, simply isn't going to happen.

by his own admission,he is an inside left

So we buy two decent central midfielders in the summer (to go with all the other central midfielders) and then proceed to play them out of position. If the manager wanted players to play wide then why, in God's name, did he not buy two specialists in the position? What on earth, if anything, goes on in his mind or is Rigg responsible for this idiocy?

Kind of what I meant, just went around the houses trying to explain it :-)

I should imagine that the fact he was free, would have had a major bearing on his signing. Not saying he is a bad player, but if he was worth 2-3 mill would we have bought him for the left wing spot? I don't think so

Right there

I've came to the conclusion that it's not Pringles fault, nor McCormack's but Kit's fault. I am now on the Kit out bandwagon, I'm sorry.

I thought Pringle looked decent against Wycombe. He provided the assist for Kacaniklic.

People built Pringle up to be some type of dazzling winger. He was benched by Rotherham alot. That tells you alot.

He might be decent or this may be him at his best.

Chutney

Pringle is a bang average player who was hyped to be way more than he is, he's playing to the best of his ability and we can't ask much more of him.

For his last three seasons with Rotherham he was a regular. In the second he was in the PFA team of the year for League One, while last year he caught the eye of many, including Fulham supporters home and away V Rotherham, and I think played every match (if not, then very nearly). But no winger, a midfielder who will deliver good crosses. We've as yet seen little of that and he has started poorly, but he does have a good season in this division under his belt.
