Speaking after the 2-1 defeat, where the Whites conceded a late goal against Hull City on Wednesday night, manager Kit Symons said that "something needs to change,  and sharpish .

With you 100% on that Kit, close the door on your way out.
Growing old is mandatory
Growing up is optional

Woolly Mammoth

And somebody bolt it on the inside.
Its not the man in the fight, it's the fight in the man.  🐘

Never forget your Roots.

The Old Count

Kit looked and sounded very down about the Hull result.  He clearly cares which is why we all like him.
Unfortunately, his demeanour gave me the impression that he is unsure how to turn things round.

Note the (in)famous late goal again. Cannot all players gather in our penalty area within the final 4 or 5 minutes and defend ruthlessly?

Perhaps holding a high line and being able to keep the ball in their half is a more sure method of not conceding?

Yes, anything hard-boiled, old Italian school. You don't win a beauty contest with it, but it serves the purpose...

Agree with old count....Kit comes across as a very nice guy, someone you would like to have a pint with. How many nice guys make good managers.?  Ferguson, Big Sam, Moyes, Mourinho, Shankly, ...all nice guys??  Kit seems to be more  1500.gif than :028:

Hopefully not missing the topic here, but I think David Moyes is a very good manager. Should Man. Utd. not given him one more season? Maybe he did not feel well at Old Trafford. He was very good at Everton.

It must be hard for Kit when everyone calls for your head after a couple of, unlucky, defeats, in games you we could have won - especially when he might think he deserves a bit of slack, after taken over last season when we had one point after eight games, and saving us from relegation.

And when the club has improved the squad with new signings, and is looking to make more.

It will be Kit's team this season, and he and the team need to be given a chance. New players need time to settle.

Getting on manager and team's back will only serve to make the players more anxious and less able to perform. Get behind the manager and the players -give them a chance, otherwise our futher demise will be a self-fulfilling prophecy, when this could be a season of redemption.
