...he posted on Facebook today, he has been rather poorly - but he will be going home (well Rupanyup) very soon, but will be concentrating his time on completing three more books he is working on...

Mr Fernhurst,
He has been suffering with a bad leg and in hospital away from computers, but rumours have it he should return to Rup soon, meaning this month. We all miss him, that's for sure.

Got this update on Facebook earlier:

"After over two months in Queensland I shall be returning to Rup next week. In future, however, I shall be spending something like 20 weeks of the year in Brisbane and 32 weeks of the year in Victoria. I have three books that I need to finish by the end of the year and I need the dough! Writing is all about discipline and solitude so now is the time to indulge in both"

I think his delightful charm and dingo bingo ways will be back with us very soon...

Anyway I suppose a dribble of news is better than no news; thanks Tom and Sir Les of Barrettshire. If you are looking in from somewhere Crooked Hat, we are waving from Whittlesey (God's unfinished project).
