I know that we have started new players in the past , but never a complete new back four.

Fredericks    Sternman  Ream    Husband.

How long will it take them to gel. I think we have a very good player in Sternman, who will soon be our captain.

They'll be fine, Kit's got two weeks on the training ground to get it right  :026:

Or is Ream away on international duty?

We have started a complete new back four before...at Ipswich in the first game of last season...Staff/Bodurov/Hutchinson/Hoogland, backed by debuts for Jorenen in goal, Burgess (remarkably in midfield), Hyndman, McCormack, with Dembele and David also starting (having totted up only a handful of first team appearances) and Parker.
There would have been a complete new back four in the first game ever played by Fulham but that's just being too clever to be worthy of note.
