Billy wants to try his hand at management now so Ray Lew would be a wonderful pair of hands to put the academy into.

MAF won't let Ray Lew go.  Hodgson is after Kelly and hoping he will be released but Sparky isn't daft and will almost certainly keep him.

I think we'll be just fine.

I wonder whether the delay might be to let the squad including Lewington, McKinley and Kelly get back to this country to bring them up to speed before the public announcement.

They either do or don't have prospective roles in a Hughes management team and will need to have one on one discussions with Mackintosh.
