I'm sure that promotion was/is the intention, but we all know that you can't guarantee results in football.

Whether they  sack Kit depends upon whether or not the owner and his advisors think he should get more time to build with this new squad.

Everyone at the club will be aware that we have had a lot of new managers in recent year - to no good effect. In fact, Kit is the most successful of our recent managers.
