Absolutely correct...... a few years ago - that is why the pathetic way the club was run in the relegation season is now really coming back to haunt us

We are now not even on the same planet as these clubs - you might as well say Huddersfield should be in the Premier as they won the First division 3 times in the twenties - FFC have lost their place through abject mismanagement

Why 'should' we be on par with these teams?

We were 2-3 years ago but some terrible decisions since then have put us exactly where we deserve to be!

then again looking at those teams, they too made shocking decisions with recruitment, players, managers, strategy and ended up even lower than us and have recovered to the top division. It can be done

We were 2-3 years ago but some terrible decisions since then have put us exactly where we deserve to be!

We should be, and have been twice already, but for bad decisions we would still be.

On the one hand they have all suffered a similar fate to ours over the years so there is hope for us.

On the other it reminds us how ridiculously we threw away our hard won status when a bit of leadership and planning would have kept us in with the elite.

No, there's no should about it. We're not entitled to be anywhere but where we are right now. We had our chance but decisions from the top cocked things right up.
That list of teams shows clubs that have turned things around though, so we do have a chance to get back but that needs to be earned.

You missed out Bolton and Blackburn. As they got promoted at the same time as us it is only fair that we "should" be level with those.
