Well on that basis, and deliberating on all the overwhelming evidence provided, including independent witnesses and photographs, and Circumstantial evidence third party and hearsay,  then we are all agreed, Nigel is the right man for Fulham FC. Let's have three cheers.

Either we where not impressed enough with him in the interview or he didn't fancy the offer put before him by our club!

Basically that's all it can boil down to.
I would lean towards the latter.
