He was a Daily Telegraph list of 25 biggest flops for the Premiership and someone asked me about him. My understanding is that he is on loan in Greece and would probably stay there until his contract runs out, which means we will have spent an eight-figure sum on a match and a half.
Am I right? Could we bring him back now that Woodrow is injured or would that break the FFP restrictions?

On a season long loan at Benfica. I was there in November and the club tour fella said he came in over weight but got himself fit and is a firm favourite with the crowd.

Taraabt also joined them overweight and still was when I was there. I doubt Xmas has helped him get any nearer the first team either.

In the weird way they account for players in football, there is a good chance if we sell him in the summer we may make a profit on him overall.
