Technical problems with FOF

Sorry for the ongoing issues...

It looks like if you are posting from a laptop or PC you will have problems creating or replying to posts, you will get the following error message:

Your session timed out while posting. Please try to re-submit your message.

We are aware of the issues, and the brightest eggheads on the planet have stocked up on beer and pizza for an all-nighter to try and resolve it.

Interestingly the issues are not replicated if you use the TapTalk app to post on here via a mobile device.

It didn't load on my iPhone for most of the day.

To coin a phrase "someone should put 50p in the meter".

The app TapTalk seems to be working on all phones and tablets. If you have not downloaded the app I would suggest it as a current band aid.

Sorry all for the ongoing issues. Apparently we are not the only people using this platform experiencing these issues.

Workarounds:

If you are just replying on a thread, if you click on "Quick Reply" on the bottom of the page then this will open the quick reply window, type away to your hearts content, press "Post" and it will work.

If you want to start a thread, then please email love4ffc at [email protected]

Alternatively if you use the TapaTalk app from a mobile device then in most cases then this should work.

All,

If using TapTalk on your phone we have found that you must have the latest version. If you have not already done so please update TapTalk to the latest version.

Side note I have heard that Android phones seem to be having the same problems as computers.

Sorry yes, it's a web browser issue and not a Tapatalk issue.

So in summary use Quick Reply.

Worked for me - clicking Quote, Reply or using Preview produced the Timeout response.
