Sheffield United boss Nigel Adkins is planning to sign a long-term target when the loan window opens on Tuesday.

He told the Sheffield Star: "Something is still alive, still available. We'll go back to that when the market opens again and try to get something done because it's a definite possibility."

However, he refused to confirm that Fulham defender Dan Burn was the player.

With the loan window opening for Football League clubs on Tuesday, Sheffield United boss Nigel Adkins has revealed he hopes to reignite a deal.

According to the paper, Adkins refused to confirm whether Fulham defender Dan Burn is the individual in question.

Well SJ reluctantly decided to chose Burn only because Danny Boy kept on putting his hand up and saying "Please sir, pick me, pick me". So he did.
