Unless villa are sold to someone generous, I truly believe they'll languish in the lower leagues for a good few years. Reckon Newcastle will win it if they drop tho.

I don't think Villa doing well is a gimme. Their American owner is even worse than ours!

I reckon it's a wiser bet to have Villa back to back relegations. For us the worst 3 to drop would be Bournemouth, Newcastle and Norwich. If that happens it's probably 3 of the top 6 places gone already. Newcastle because they will probably repeat the dominance they had last time they went down and the other 2 because they are likely to keep the core of their squad who are in between championship and premier league quality. Yo yo clubs if you like.

IMO the best outcome from our point of view if we want to go up next season is Villa. You could argue Sunderland will keep Big Sam which will boost their chances and although Swansea might lose players they are well run and will no doubt use their spending power with shrewd purchases instead of people like Bodurov, Voser, Eisfeld, Kiraly and Fotheringham. 

Basically the teams coming down are strong bar Villa

A nice thought and could happen with a lot of the latest imports into the club leaving in my view,if these players cant play consistent performances 2 games in row they shouldn't be here and I'm hoping joka will be the man to move them as if he doesn't we are going backwards rather than forward!
