How far can Fulham go?

On the eve of a new Premier League season, incredibly our tenth in a row, I wonder how far our great club can get in 'the great scheme of things'. Will we ever shake the 'little old fulham' tag. Can we ever hope to be competing in europe on a regualr basis. Could we one day be challenging for major trophies every season? Or will we always be a team who has one or two good years, and then goes back to being a bottom half team scraping results to stay.

This will be a big season because of how we have been set up by events beyond our control. If at the end of the season we can finish safe then that will be good enough. But I think we can start shakey but finish well to end up in the top half.

If we can keep Hughes and things are built up then I would think Europe is a real possibility. In the end top ten could be our usual spot and Europe our aim every season.
