Fulham Interested in Blackburn Wide-Man

Following on from the 3-0 defeat against Brentford, with the gaols coming in a first-half that was, questionably, the worst forty-five minutes of our season, Slaven Jokanovic suggested he now knew exactly what was needed to turn the club around.

Having joined Fulham Football Club at a time where the club was operating under a transfer embargo, Jokanovic had to make use of the loan market to bring in some fresh talent.

However, the word on the street suggests the transfer embargo is set to be lifted shortly and Jokanovic will be able to bring in those players he feels will improve the squad.

Yesterday the leading exponent of the tabloid market, the Sun suggested that Jokanovic wants to raid Ewood Park this summer to bring the Blackburn Rovers wide-man Ben Marshall to Craven Cottage.

The player is rated in the £1.5 million bracket and would, we feel, be a welcome addition to a squad that is set to change big-time this summer.

Villa To Break The Bank For McCormack?

It's being reported that Aston Villa are hugely interested in Fulham goal machine Ross McCormack.

The Scottish international was a hot property a few years back, scoring 61 goals in three seasons for Leeds United, and that earned him an £11million move to Craven Cottage and whilst Fulham continue to struggle following their own departure from the Premier League, McCormack hasn't, as this year he's still found the net 23 times.

With interest in him in the January transfer window from promotion hopefuls Middlesbrough and Derby County - as well as Premier League newboys Bournemouth - he signed a new deal, but the Daily Mail say that Villa are now interested in triggering his release clause and bringing him to B6 next season.

With no football board, no manager, a manager potentially held up being announced owing to potential new owners...

Yeah we can put this one in the bin can't we.

Gabby Agbonlahor to Greece rumours won't go away either, as he's now being linked with a move to Olympiakos this summer after somebody apparently recommended him to the club.

With two years left on his bumper performance totally unrelated contract, the old lines of wages could be a struggle are included in those reports.

Baird To Return From Fulham Loan

Chris Baird is to return to Derby County from his emergency loan spell at fellow Sky Bet Championship side Fulham.

Baird, 34, joined the West London outfit until the end of the campaign back in February but Derby have activated a clause in the agreement to bring the player back to the iPro Stadium.

Academy graduate Jamie Hanson sustained an injury to his shoulder last week and, as a result, will miss the rest of the current campaign - prompting the Rams to recall Baird.

The Northern Ireland international, capable of playing in defence or midfield, has made 16 appearances for Derby this season after joining from West Bromwich Albion last summer.

Baird made seven appearances during his loan spell at Craven Cottage, adding to the 165 he made for Fulham between July 2007 and July 2013.

Head Coach Darren Wassall told Rams Player HD: "It looks as if Jamie's season is over.

"He's going to go and see a surgeon this week in London to have a look at the extent of the damage but it doesn't look good for him.

"It's a shame for Jamie because he covers us in three positions. It's more disappointing, though, for him more than anybody else because he has played a major part in the last three months of the season."

On Baird's return, Wassall added: "Chris can play in a number of positions and will give us good cover. We have to protect ourselves and he will be back in training on Wednesday."

Baird Recalled

Chris Baird has been recalled by his parent club Derby County with immediate effect.

The versatile Northern Ireland international had been taking in a second spell at Craven Cottage, and made seven appearances during his loan stint.

He will now join back up with his Rams teammates for their final match of the standard Sky Bet Championship campaign versus Ipswich Town, before they compete in the Play-Offs against Hull City.

Everyone at Fulham would like to thank Chris for his efforts, and wish him the best of the luck for the remainder of the season.

Everyone is Slaughtering Scott Parker's Appearance on Monday Night Football

This week's guest on Sky Sports' Monday Night Football show is Scott Parker and basically everyone is taking the p*ss out of him.

The Fulham midfielder join Jamie Carragher and presenter Ed Chamberlain in the studio tonight to act as pundit for the potentially title-deciding Premier League match between Chelsea and Tottenham at Stamford Bridge.

As a former player for both clubs, Parker, now 35, would seem like a perfect temporary addition to the team, particularly for this game.

But from the outset of his appearance, fans mercilessly mocked the ex-England international on social media, slaughtering everything from his suit to his eyebrows.

To be fair, he did turn up wearing what looked like a Wets Ham-themed outfit, which certainly didn't go unnoticed.
