I really think Cyle Larin is going to end up at a Championship club or lower Prem Club next season, and think he might turn into something special.  I'd like to see him at Fulham.

It looks like we are interested in Bastia forward Floyd Ayite, alongside Montpellier and Sunderland.

I just wish we'd sign someone who's name I can pronounce properly.

I know how you feel and with Smith reported as probably leaving the problem will not be eased.

Delboy

Just keeping it on the front page, at some point there will be something positive to report.

Kaca's having a medical at Nantes. That's positive for him.

Well I certainly hope so. Clearly we are not concerned to get our transfer business concluded early. No surprise perhaps but given the need for quite extensive surgery I do worry about starting the season with anything like a settled squad.

Those who are concerned about the lack of transfer news as yet might look at the BBC transfer list:

There have been just a few big PL transfers and steady activity in lower divisions but not much activity at our level.

The context of this is a 20th place finish last year after we were aiming for top 6, a manager promising to "change everything" and a chairman publicly green-lighting that... Ergo... I expect us to be the single most active championship club this summer. So I don't take much comfort from only a small number of our peers having been more active so far
WHile I understamd your frustrations Statto, i do not see how the club can meet players let alone do medicals while most players are away on holiday, which would be natural given they are soon due to report back (at most clubs) for pre season.

Of course you can speak to their agents, but surely no club would (and no fan would want their team too) agree to a transfer without having met the player first as well.

Lee Johnson the bristol City manager was talking the other day about how the prices being quoted both for fees and wages were massive (compared to L1 mainly) but also due to some changes to Agents rules its difficult getting to talk to the right person.
Its always quiet during the early stages of a tournament and things will start to build up from next week on wards as teams start to filter back to training.

Mariappa released by Palace. Would be great to have a right back that knows how to defend.

Carlton Cole has refused FFC on many occasions - even less of a case to go for him nowadays!

This is the most reliable Turkish sports website. According to my google translation the deal to Galatasaray fell through as Dembele's agent demanded too much money.
