Jovanovic said he want to build the team around Ross, if he really is being sold you can understand why our manager comes across as seriously pissed off in his most recent interview.

if there is any truth in this at all I would take him with or without Ross leaving at the right price, 6 million for a 34 year old is pricey though, 4 tops for me

34 years old but as natural goalscorer as it gets. He would almost certainly guarantee 20+ goals in the Championship.

Defoe is a really good striker but he isn't worth £6m or anything like it.  He can play alongside almost anyone and will score goals but there is a realistic price for him and it is much, much closer to £1m.

Anyone paying money for Defoe is insane. He's at the end of his career. I wouldn't want him on a free given his wages that are disproportionate to the rest of our squad.
