Really excellent move from us, exactly what we need. The squad's really starting to take shape now.

Predicted lineups for next season?
The Intertoto might not exist anymore, but that doesn't matter. We'll still win it again.

For me it would be

Button

Madl-Stearman-TBC-Odoi

Ayite-McDonald-Cairney-Aluko

McCormack-TBC
I cannot see us playing 2 up front as we have not seem to have done so from the start of any friendly game yet

Interesting - my
4-4-2 line up is as follows:
Freddy - Madl - Kalas - Odoi
Ayite - McDonald - Cairney - Aluko
McCormack - Woodrow

But again, I don't see us in 4-4-2 at any point this season. LVC should be playing a lot and with McDonald and Cairney our top two in midfield, we risk losing yet another young player due to lack of playing. Plus, Jok likes the 4-3-3, 4-1-3-2 or 4-2-3-1. So I think we will always be keen on having 6 good midfielders at our disposal, meaning Tunni and Parker will still get a lot of play. In a 4-4-2, Tunni will never play.

Classic94

Button, Odoi, Madl, Kalas, Fred, McDonald, LVC, Cairney, Ayite, Aluko, McCormack

Could do with 2/3 more additions but starting to look competitive.

Now that's what I call a classy farewell:

Respect to him for this.  Nice touch :)

Didn't have the greatest Time whilst here but that is the sign of a decent bloke and a professional athlete.

What a class message! One in the eye for those on this MB who wouldn't give him the time of day.

Looks like Grimmer may well be off as well, on his instagram he's in London!

He probably wrote that while he was suspended after being sent off or while out on loan

Club said some stayed behind for treatment

I'm convinced we never saw the best of Amorebieta during his time with us, mainly down to the shambles around him and some times down to the way he reacted to the chaos.

Unlike some, he played as if he cared about the results.

RaySmith

I always thought him one of our best defenders, and I remember that goal he scored in that crucial game at home to Hull - which wasn't enough to save us unfortunately.

Thanks Fernando, and all the best for the  future.

There is a big fire at the old BBC ground at Motspur Park.

A far better player than he was credited for by many on this board.  Off the field I followed him on Twitter and he came across as an articulate, intelligent, family-orientated man keen to make the most of his time in an unfamiliar country and to integrate himself into the ethos of the UK. It was quite clear from his tweets that he really cared about the cli and was always one of the first to congratulate one of his teammates from an individual achievement such as an international call-up through to a birthday or anniversary.  There were also many messages with the COYW hashtag before an important game.  I thinks his splendidly graceful, farewell to the club, his teammates and supporters show the measure of the man.  Good luck for the future Nando and thanks for you efforts on behalf of FCC.
