Personally I think the current team has a better balance, remember last season how slow we were getting the ball forward, and we were all moaning. Now look at the current team and you are a massive difference we are actually frightening teams with our pace plus we are scoring goals all this without Ross in the team. I think this season we will see more players scoring as a team rather then one player banging in 20 goals. Yes I think a replacement is needed and I believe we wouldn't sell Ross without having this inplace. Here's to a great and exciting season.

:plus one:

The ball was moved much quicker on Saturday.

Siblings, let us not be down on it.
One total catastrophe like this...is just the beginning !

German magazine Kicker reporting we are interested in a 3.7 million pound bid for Matija Nastasic from Schalke. Used to be at Man City, not entirely sure on this as feel he could be a little bit to lightweight for the championship!

Nastasic is way above this level, if we got that deal done I would streak through Putney. Wont happen.

Far too good to be true, cracking player.
The Intertoto might not exist anymore, but that doesn't matter. We'll still win it again.

Top class player. Serbian. BUT missed all last season with ruptured achilles.

Porthogs FC

That would be an incredible signing... Just can't see him agreeing. Played CL 2 seasons ago at PL winning team

Eddy Silvestre is said to be on his way to Fulham. An attacking midfielder at over 6 foot.

Not a big transfer So a squad player I presume?

Real Murcia are my local club & are League 2, League 1 at best. Eddy could not get in the 1st team & was sent out to Cordoba on a season loan. Very much a squad player. Real Murcia are in the 3rd tier which is split into 4 groups. They have misses out in the play offs for the last 2 seasons for promotion to League 2. Not much money in the club so €200k is a windfall. Nice modern stadium & only costs €15 for a seat.

Eddy had a quality season the year Murcia were relegated to Segunda B. He was one of their best players. When they got relegated everything was up in the air with players staying and leaving so I think since then his career has stagnated a bit. He was a good player though and I think Fulham should take a punt.

So well done Fulham..... For standing your ground, we have come out and said we wont take a penny less then 15million knocking back thier 12 million offer reports saying he will be in the match day squad on Friday.COYW

If he is then great but we need to draw a line under it one way or another. Can't have us sell 2 days before end of the window and then be stuck with no replacement.

The only certain way that we can draw a line under it now is to sell him for whatever Norwich are offering. All the while he is still our player and yet has a release clause, he can be poached from us right up to the final day of the window.

Just in case there is a faint possibility of there being anything in the Nastasic rumour, this interview from the end of March might be of interest. Excellent English interview from a German club's website!

Nastasic would be a good signing if he shoes the ability that made city sign him. Serb so maybe SJ could persuade him

This time next year £12 million is going to look like an enormous amount of money for McCormack if we don't sell now,
QPHa sold Charlie Austin for £4 million last summer, I'm surprised Norwich haven't moved for him.

The only way this could come off is if it is a loan. He'd definitely be coming into this season at a lower starting point than his team and could certainly benefit from beginning at a lower level to get his feet back under him.

But, Schalke definitely wouldn't want to lose money on him which they would have to if he came here. And, he definitely is a player whose talents are well above this league so, doubtful that he'd want to step down to us permanently on the off chance that he'd get back to the PL sometime.

Just someone monkeying around with coincidences, trying to invent some spectacular move to ultimately drive page hits IMHO.

Just doesn't score there though does he, Europe last season
and this, and against Barcelona Saturday.
Of course he would find it harder, but he knows where the
Goals are.

If you're using his goal against Barcelona as a make weight to back him up as anything more than a League 1 striker then you're nuts. Tap in from a mistake that anyone on this board would have finished. He's scored 12 in three years for Wolves in League 1 and became 'prolific' when we went North, which pretty much anyone could be.

Get your facts right, he was out on loan for 2 of them
Seasons at Hibs.
He came back to Wolves 2014 season where he was their
Top scorer with 13 in 30 games...Its on Wiki.
Bit diff from 12 in 3 years as you state.
They sold him to Celtic in the Jan window, if he had stayed at
Wolves and played 46 games instead of 30 he most probably
got 20+ goals.
