Jozabed of Rayo Vallecano apparently on his way to London for a medical today. 24 year old Spanish CM.

Know nothing more about him, but I like the name  - which is a start, at least.
thats his first name, his surname is Ruiz :005:

Scored 10 in La Liga last season which for a CM is a cracking return.

Which makes me wonder why he would want to come to the Championship - all the more so to a club that finished where we did last season.

And herein lies our problem. He seems as if he is exactly the sort of player who, with a further addition-or-two, would transform us into a team with genuine play-off aspirations. But even if we can afford him, we can't force him to sign for us.

Vallecano got relegated. Was going to Granada for 4mil Euro's but they refused to pay it and here we are. Looks like a steal if he's as good irl as YouTube makes him out to be. All we can but do is hope for some clever signings such as this one (hopefully) and we start to turn into dark horses. We've certainly got the money now to afford players like him so here's to hoping.

Well for a start Rayo where relegated. Secondly a more lucrative contract, there's no doubt we can pay more than Rayo or a lot of lower table la liga teams.

The championship is actually quite an attractive league to overseas players. It's one of the top 5 or so attended leagues in Europe and puts players in with a chance of premiership football. Whether through promotion or the shop window.

Looks brilliant on that YouTube clip. Scores all sorts of goals, great finisher. 3.4m release clause, sounds like a bargain! I could get very excited about this one.
First game: Fulham 4 Burnley 0, December 12th 1998.

Supposed to be signing tomorrow according to my mate Barra.Usually has good info.

Jozabed looks very interesting - scores with either foot and with his header
If Jokanovic could get a couple of the midfielders to score 10 or so each a la Derby then things post Ross might not be so bleak after all!
