Asamoah Gyan? That would be one hell of a signal of intent!

If he's anything like the player he was before he went to Abu Dhabi, he'll be a nightmare for every opponent we face.
? His form before he left was ten goals in two years at Sunderland.

About 1 goal or assist every other match. In the Premier League. With Sunderland.

It's Not Sky Sports whispers, Sky News actually reported that Gyan deal was close and he could fly in this week for medical.

Also look at this tweet sign saying British in the background and a club no one would guess = Fulham

I think Gyan was a very good player- dont really know now to be honest. But if he plays how he did in 2010 he will walk the Championship.
It's the British High Commission in Ghana if you look at the guys twitter.

It was 10 goals in 1 season. Which is very good for the premier league. And considering he was at Sunderland.
you are correct, he failed to score in his second season at Sunderland and was shipped out early, presumably for an offer to big to refuse. Collins john scored more than him and I wouldn't want him back. That said, his goal record was good after he went to Abu Dhabi, but he is 30 now and I'm not a huge fan of old players. Plus he is meant to be on 220k a week, so if we use up a large chunk of our budget to get him for a year, I'll not be overly impressed. Let's get them young so that we have a player for years or a good resale value, that's what I say

Good spot, Fair enough, Still, he said a club that no one would guess. Good chance of that being Fulham in my opinion.

I suppose Gyan is what you would call a Big Name.
He's scored goals at the top level and has looked good from time to time but by no means consistently. At 30 (even West African!) years he should be capable of a major impact in the Championship.

He's never hung around long wherever he's been. He's been with PL, Serie A and Ligue 1 teams, but never made 50 league appearances for any of them.

ChesterTheTabby

Kebano seems a quality signing, 22-24 goals or so in two seasons with PSG as a midfielder. Not a bad peg on the lad and he's still only 24 years of age.
Someone once asked me, "Why Fulham?".
My response, "Well, lad, you just haven't seen the light yet"

We Are Premier League

JonBenjamin is a WH fan and they are in a desperate need of strikers so i would not hold my breath waiting for Gyan..

I thought 31st was deadline day.
But on all betting pages says players to sign before 3rd Sept.
