Everybody is still talking about this cyric fella, but what's the deal?
He is in the match squad for his team and if we would have made a bit and are in talks surely this put doubts up. - anyone any idea what the latest is?

Also the Chris Martin says that we JUST inquired, which means that we missed out on the striker we were very close to last week.... Or am i wrong?

Alan Nixon a reporter has tweeted today that we are seriously in for Martin as Derby are signing Vydra.

The Cyriac link has been around for ten days or so, yes he is in the Oostende squad, but we have inquired, confirmed there side but no official bid as yet. He is quick and can finish apparently, not seen much of him even when I lived in Belgium I didn't see too much of him but other than that I know nothing

I am not overly a fan but he does score at this level, for Derby in the champ he has 54 goals in 134 games so 1 in 2.5 or there abouts.

I also prefer a pacey forward, a pacey powerhouse would do us fine I think.

It's been that kind of window so far.......ruthless comes to mind in terms of players leaving.  With no emergency loan window there is more pressure on clubs to get their squads exactly how they need them.

So I wouldn't call you mad if you had a little feeling maybe Smith and Woodrow are on their way. With not 1, not 2 but 3 strikers joining.

Stranger things have happened. Martin, Cyriac and Enrich anyone?

Seems strange we are linked with 3 strikers completely different in styles and leagues.  Maybe we want the pacey option, the target man option and the technically gifted option. Woodrow gives you none of the 3 and Smith is limited. Martin is an upgrade on Smith but it seems odd to have both in a strike force of 3

Your right he isn't but he does score goals at this level.

I cant see Derby signing both, are they just covering there bases in case one doesn't work out, just don't see those two as a partnership, time will tell

They are trying the Middlesboro method. If they don?t gain promotion they will be in big trouble.A dangerous game to play & not one I would want us to emulate.
Derby seem to spend big every year so I don?t know how they keep within FFP.

Not so sure Grandad, they get big gate receipts and merchandise well, that plus money from selling Martin and they may be ok, remember its a 3 year average now for FFP as I understand, meaning need to be balanced over a period, so not sure they will get hit this season so to speak.
