Custom League Tables

stumbled across this from another forum :

you can take any season and see what the table would look like if only minutes x-y, or dates x-y counted.

This season, if only the 1st 10 minutes of each game counted we'd have won the league. Complete opposite, where if only 80mins + would have counted we'd be rock bottom.

Nothing major to gain from it but certainly wastes a few Monday minutes.

Really interesting - thanks.  The penalty stats are a real shocker !  Nearly twice as many conceded as the nearest team!

We are top the league...we are top the league...until 11th minute

well we if we only played the first half we would be 14th, only second half 21st, so now we know which is our better half

Looking back at our relegation season, this site reinforces what we could see at the time: how badly our performances tailed away towards the end of games. Had matches finished at the 75 minute-mark, we'd have been in 13th place with a relatively comfortable 41 points.

Wow.Shame there isn't a stat for goals conceded from set pieces,we'd have an even bigger lead in that one!

Surely you have noticed that we don't do crosses and headers but prefer to play around for ages with short passes allowing defences to get well organised ready to take the ball from us and launch a well rehearsed quick break.

Yes, and I have noticed the lack of pace.  I just find the summary stats interesting.
