Should have played on for the Wickham effort but De Gea didn't try if the whistle hadn't of goner I think De Gea saves that. As for the Rooney Zaha tangle 50/50 for me. I did think Blind took Zaha down though, but never really saw a clear replay.

personally i would slightly disagree with the first one, from the view from behind the goal you can see him blow his whistle as they were going down, he was not to know that the player would jump up again. I thought that at the time and i still do. The 2nd one though yes without a doubt could have given it a few seconds more.

Agree he should have allowed the advantage for the first incident. I think he got the Zaha decision spot on though, even though others may have given the penalty.

Who'd want to be a ref? You get pilloried for the 1% you get wrong rather than recognised for the 99% you get right.

The thing for me tho is that once he decides to book Smalling it has to be a red imo.
