Good luck to him.  I'm viewing it on the basis that anyone who isn't at least as good as Michael Turner was for us at the back end of the season before last isn't going to be good enough.  Hutchinson wasn't.

That's a very good point!
A Micheal Turner type of player is the standard of player we require.
Would the man himself be the answer?

A right footed defender playing on the left side of a defensive partnership, says it all about our management.

You literally don't know football.

Stearman and Ream are probably just as bad and imo worse but Burn and Hutch were out of contract. Imo it made no sense keeping either of them when it's debatable that they were an upgrade and certainly aren't good enough to take us forward.

Hutch is a decent signing for Millwall and I think they will be around the playoffs again.  Good on him for going down a league and most likely taking a wage cut to get first team football. Although the fact he had to do that when he's at a good age to be signed tells the story of his lack of quality for this division. League one is probably his level.

Good luck to him anyway, I have no reason to criticise him. He gave his best and seemed a good lad.

Anyone know where Burn is heading? I wouldn't be surprised to see him go there too.

Imo he was ok.
But prone to go to sleep at least once in a game, Get caught out then lunge in late to rectify it. So always a worry while watching him

Think he will do well for Millwall tho.

Siblings, let us not be down on it.
One total catastrophe like this...is just the beginning !

At least we have now got rid of 2 of our best defenders, only way to make sure of relegation next season assuming our only 2 strikers go as well! Must check our odds for next season on staying up??

Our two best defenders? Really?
